Hello to those in Leeds
in case u are still reading it... just wanted to say i got a job placement in China. Probably in Shanghai. i'm really excited but the job description looks really tough and they specifically wants an intern who is strong in Quantity Surveying subjects. But that's my weakest subjects. I'm definitely better in technology, services and facilities but i had to take up the job that poses the toughest challenge.
Well, they pay is much better the other job placements. one of the highest in fact. and with the money i can live comfortably in Shanghai, but maybe not enough to pay for the rent. I'm contemplating with i should stay alone, or stay with the other girls and spend money on transport? (but i save on rent).
what should i do, girls?
anyway, i'm more excited about what's going to happen AFTER my job attachment. I want to go to japan! well, but i find it a little difficult to bring my request across to certain peoples who lives in fukuoka. I want to learn japanese and i don't mind spending a sum and get my Jap Level 4 placement test when i get back home. this will definitely increase my chances of working for japanese companies in singapore right? shimizu, obayashi, kajima, hitachi... and maybe get posted to japan to work... or back to china.
was thinking, if i want to go conquer East Asia, Chinese Japanese and English makes my life much easier. yes right? Then hope i get enough experience and money, quit my job and work for Habitat for Humanity and go scuba diving occasionally.
Looks like my life is still such a long journey...
Life in Leeds looks great on facebook. Looks fabulous in fact... i can imagine all the fun and laughter and so much things to look forward to everyday. Ami -> going swiss? How nice =)
